Test Valley Partnership: Structure

Membership of the Test Valley Partnership is open to all agencies and organisations operating within the Borough with an interest in the social, environmental and economic well-being of the people of Test Valley.  The full partnership is likely to meet no more than once a year when there is an Annual General Meeting. However, members will be kept in touch through a communication network.

The diagram to the right outlines the structure of the Test Valley Partnership.

Test Valley Partnership Structure

The Partnership Board, shown at the top of the diagram sets the overall strategic direction of Test Valley Partnership, carrying out detailed planning and driving forward the work of the partnership, which it oversees.

Beneath the Partnership Board on the diagram is the Partnership Management Group.  This is an officer group at Chief Executive/Director level.  Its primary role is to work with the Action Groups to ensure and enable local delivery.

Beneath the Partnership Management Group are the Action Groups.  The eight key themes of the Community Plan are supported at a detailed operational level by Partnership Action Groups.  The Turn Around Project and the 0 to 19 Strategy Group are important sub-groups of the partnership.

The Action Groups are relatively small working groups, made up of people who have expertise and/or an interest in a particular policy area, at a local level.  They are primarily responsible for taking forward all aspects of work of the Partnership in the relevant policy area.

Further information on the roles of the different groups within the Test Valley Partnership can be accessed via the links above or the menu on the left.
