Test Valley Partnership

Test Valley Partnership comprises:-

representatives from public, private, business, community and voluntary sector organisations committed to work together to improve quality of life for the residents of Test Valley.

The overall aim of the Test Valley Partnership is to:

Create a community where everyone has the opportunity to fulfill their potential and enjoy a good quality of life.

Members of the Partnership agreed the following statement of purpose:

'By working together we will use our combined resources to better effect to bring about a sustained and measurable improvement in the quality of life of the people of Test Valley, especially those in most need.'

The Partnership has produced a Community Plan, 'Your Test Valley', which sets out a vision for the future of the borough and which details the outcomes we aim to achieve.

A revised and updated version of The Plan was published in June 2007 and launched at this year's Annual General Meeting of the Partnership.

About the Community Plan:

The revised Plan retains the basic framework of the original version, which was drawn up on the back of extensive public consultation.  This process identified the following eight key quality of life issues, which are addressed in turn in the chapter of the Plan.

  • Community Safety
  • Education and Lifelong Learning
  • The Enviornment
  • Health and Well-Being
  • Leisure and Culture
  • The Local Economy
  • Local Communities
  • Transport
